Key Responsibilities
- Proactively prospect and develop new international dealer and distributor relationships across assigned regions, including Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and other emerging markets.
- Manage and grow an existing book of international accounts through regular outbound outreach — calls, video meetings, email campaigns, and in-person visits.
- Present and sell Horizon Hobby's full product portfolio, including RC vehicles, aircraft, boats, model trains, and electronics from brands such as ARRMA, Losi, Axial, E-Flite, Blade and Spektrum.
- Develop territory-specific sales plans aligned with regional demand, seasonal trends, and new product launch calendars.
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, and logistics teams to support international partners with training resources, promotional materials, and go-to-market strategies.
- Represent Horizon Hobby at international trade shows, hobby expos, and distributor events. Domestic and International travel required.
- Track and report on pipeline activity, revenue performance, and market trends using CRM tools (Salesforce).
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B outbound sales experience, preferably in consumer products, sporting goods, toys, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop, and close international accounts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in a second language (German, Spanish, French, Mandarin, or Japanese preferred).
- Comfort working across multiple time zones and engaging clients in different cultural business contexts.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and standard business productivity tools.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a high volume of outbound activity independently.
Physical Requirements
- Occasional lifting of office supplies and materials, up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer.
