International Recruitment Specialist

About the role

The International Recruitment Specialist, Seasonal Exchange Programs will sell CIEE seasonal placement services to U.S. businesses, aligning with CIEE's mission and values. This role supports the Work & Travel USA and Camp Exchange USA programs, which enable approximately 25,000 students and young professionals from around the world to participate in work-based exchange programs at U.S. host organizations annually. These programs operate under the U.S. Department of State’s Bridge USA initiative to advance public diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Sell CIEE's Seasonal Exchange programs to prospective U.S. businesses.
• Prospect and cold call to gather information about host employers' needs.
• Foster ongoing relationships with host employers, including recruiters, HR representatives, business owners, and U.S. summer camps.
• Provide consultation on hiring needs and creating successful Bridge USA programs.
• Obtain commitments from host employers and U.S. summer camps to hire Bridge USA participants through CIEE hiring services by presenting tailored hiring solutions.
• Promote CIEE at regional and national tradeshows as needed.
• Collaborate with other Seasonal Exchanges teams to ensure a successful program experience for Bridge USA participants, from application to completion.
• Hire program participants for host employers—hiring may occur in-person, overseas, or virtually.
• Maintain an accurate and complete sales database.
• Travel internationally as needed to support CIEE's program placement goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent).
• A minimum of 2 years of previous sales success required; B2B and human capital solutions preferred.
• This role involves some domestic and international travel (flexible).
• Experience in international exchange programs preferred.
• International travel and/or work experience preferred.
• Recruitment/Human Resource experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and be flexible.
