About the role
The International Product Analyst/Owner plays a key role in shaping and delivering healthcare software solutions across global markets, combining product ownership, business analysis, and healthcare expertise.
Responsibilities
- Support the evolution, delivery, and adoption of healthcare software products across international markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, clinical, implementation, analytics, documentation, commercial, and customer-facing teams to deliver product capabilities across international markets.
- Support product releases and go-live activities, including documentation updates, validation processes, training alignment, risk tracking, and post-release support.
- Identify customer challenges and translate business needs into clear product requirements, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and validation scenarios.
- Prioritize and manage product backlog items from initial intake through release readiness while monitoring dependencies, risks, decisions, and action plans.
- Act as a voice of the customer by monitoring market needs and providing insights that influence product priorities and roadmap decisions.
- Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to align regional requirements with broader product strategies.
- Support commercial teams through product demonstrations, proposal contributions, and presentations focused on customer value and outcomes.
- Provide clear communication through status updates, issue escalation, decision tracking, and cross-functional coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university with at least 8 years of Health Information Management (HIM) experience within the healthcare industry, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 12 years of HIM experience.
- Experience in healthcare software, product development, or international business environments.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse teams.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments is preferred.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with healthcare technology products, including healthcare coding or classification software solutions, is an advantage.
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office and technical project management platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of additional languages beyond English is a plus.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is preferred.
- Able to travel occasionally, including up to 15% domestic and 20% international travel.
