About the role

The International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) practice at EY is a joint venture between Transaction Advisory Services and Tax service lines. It advises corporate and private equity clients on all aspects of their capital agenda through three competencies: Transaction Tax Advisory, International Corporate Tax Advisory, and Transfer Pricing. ITTS offers a coordinated go-to market and service approach that allows for significant learning and development within the transaction landscape and international cross-border transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and answer complex domestic and international tax issues
  • Provide technical tax advice and planning services to a portfolio of projects
  • Build long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements
  • Participate in a dedicated client service team and provide performance feedback to staff
  • Continuously develop your own knowledge, monitoring emerging trends, technologies, and practices

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and around three years of related work experience, or a graduate degree and two years of related work experience
  • Progress toward (or completion of) a valid CPA certification or licensed attorney status
  • Tax due diligence, deal structuring, and post-acquisition planning experience
  • Inbound and outbound transaction consulting with international tax research, planning, and compliance experience
  • Experience managing budgets, projects, and people

  • Strong writing, research, analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent business acumen and strategic vision
  • Willingness and ability to travel when necessary

Pay

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $91,100 to $150,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $109,400 to $170,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.

Schedule

We expect most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. We offer a flexible vacation policy where you decide how much vacation time you need based on your personal circumstances. You'll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
