International Consultant for TOT and Rights-Based Family Planning (RBFP)

About the role

The consultant will manage the pre-training, implementation (delivery), and reporting phases of the 10-day Training of Trainers (TOT) workshop and provide direct technical oversight for initial cascade training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize the 10-day TOT training agenda, adapted session plans, pre/post-tests, and training methodology.
• Lead and facilitate the interactive 10-day TOT program for 10 selected trainers.
• Provide technical oversight and support for initial cascade training conducted by ToT graduates.
• Grade and analyze pre-test and post-test data to evaluate training efficacy.
• Compile a detailed final workshop report outlining successes, gaps, lessons learned, and recommendations.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree (master’s or equivalent) in Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health, or a related reproductive health field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in managing public health programs, specifically in sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and family planning.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering Training of Trainers (TOT) workshops for clinical staff.
• Familiarity with UN/UNFPA frameworks, national health strategies, and rights-based clinical guidelines is highly preferred.
• Exceptional training, moderation, and presentation skills suited for adult learners.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Pay

• Payment for each deliverable will be processed upon written acceptance by the UNFPA Country Office, verified against the specific contributions.

Schedule

• This assignment will be conducted over the period of 25 working days exclusive of travel days.
