**Student Volunteer (Conference Helper) – ICAM2E 2019** **About the role** Student volunteers are essential to the success of ICAM2E 2019. While student volunteers will contribute to the smooth running of the conference, the main attraction of volunteering lies in the chance to meet and interact with national and international researchers in the field of mechanical and manufacturing engineering. **Responsibilities** - Assist with registration and information desk duties - Guide participants to various conference venues - Assist with technical sessions (e.g. setting up microphones, distributing materials) - Provide general support to conference organizers and participants - Assist with any ad-hoc tasks as required by the conference organizers **Requirements** - Currently enrolled as a student at Universiti Putra Malaysia (preferably in the Faculty of Engineering) - Good command of English (both written and spoken) - Friendly, proactive, and able to work well in a team - Available to volunteer for the full duration of the conference (20-21 November 2019) **Benefits** - Complimentary conference registration (including access to all sessions, keynote speeches, and conference materials) - Networking opportunities with national and international researchers - Certificate of appreciation - Lunch and refreshments provided during the conference - Potential for future collaboration and academic opportunities **Application** Interested students are encouraged to apply by sending their resume and a brief cover letter to icam2e@upm.edu.my by 30 September 2019.
