Internal Transporter
About the role
Provides a hospital-wide patient transport service. Responsible for receiving and prioritizing patient transport requests from inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and urgent care services. Works closely and collaboratively with patients, families, and staff for safe and effective hand-offs, while providing exceptional customer service for best patient experience. Coordinates written, verbal, and technological communication from clinical staff to optimize flow throughout the hospital.

- Work closely and collaboratively with patients, families, and staff for safe and effective hand-offs, while providing exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate written, verbal, and technological communication from clinical staff to optimize flow throughout the hospital.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in fast paced, customer service related field.
Qualifications
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.

Pay
$21.30 - $30.33 per hour
Schedule
Full-time position.

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
