About the role

Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center seeking a Full-time Primary Care Physician (FM) to join our team in White Plains, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning and developing health care services, treatment of conditions and illnesses within scope.
  • Diagnose and provide treatment plans for patients.
  • Collaborate and supervise advanced provider clinicians.
  • Complete and participate in chart review process.
  • Referral and follow-up of patients when needed.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Health Center in order to maintain high quality standards and achieve client satisfaction.
  • Clinical Supervision: Overseeing the clinical work of students or new providers, ensuring they adhere to best practices and organizational standards.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Providing mentorship and guidance to students or new providers, helping them develop their clinical skills and professional behavior.
  • Educational Support: Facilitating educational sessions, workshops or seminars to enhance the learning experience of the mentees.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assessing the performance of students or new providers, providing constructive feedback and documenting their progress.
  • Patient Care: Ensuring high-quality patient care is maintained while supervising and mentoring students or new providers.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with academic institutions and other healthcare professionals to coordinate the educational activities and ensure a comprehensive learning experience.

Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree (MD, DO)
  • Active/Valid license as a MD or DO in New York State, DEA, Board certification
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Experience in HIV care and MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse patient population in community health setting.

Qualifications

Pay

$237,182.40 - $269,755.20 per year
