This part-time position in Queens, NY provides an opportunity to become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities while providing bedside wound care in post-acute care settings.
Full-time W2 physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits, with a routine 45-hour work week. This role offers a mobile practice, visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities.
- Treat approximately 20–30 patients per day across 2–3 facilities.
- Utilize proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time clinical documentation during rounds.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice (New York).
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
- No work visa sponsorship is available.
Schedule
- Full-time: Monday–Friday (7:00 AM–4:00 PM), 4–5 days per week.
- Part-time: Minimum of 3 days per week (weekdays only).
- No call, no weekend clinical responsibilities.
