Internal Medicine Physician

Part-time opportunity in Hempstead, NY with a national wound-physician group offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance. No nights, no call, no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound-care modalities.
• Provide bedside wound care in skilled-nursing facilities and long-term acute-care hospitals across a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily.
• Document care in real time at the point of service using the group’s proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted MD/DO license in the state where you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
• W2 employment contract; no work-visa sponsorship is available.

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (4–5 days per week).
• Part-time: minimum of 3 days per week during the same hours.
• No call, no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Pay

W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year.
