This part-time position in Bronx, NY provides an opportunity to become an expert in wound management, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Physicians deliver bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits, with a routine 45-hour work week for full-time positions. This role offers a mobile practice, visiting 2-3 facilities per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care facilities.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities.
- Utilize proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time clinical documentation during rounds.
- Learn from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
- Participate in paid training and a 6-month wound care fellowship for clinical excellence.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice (New York).
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time role.
- No work visa sponsorship is available.
Schedule
- No nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.
- Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
- Part-time schedule: Minimum of 3 days per week (flexible scheduling).
- Full-time role: 4 - 5 days per week.
