Internal Medicine Physician

Part-time opportunity with a national wound-physician group offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance — no nights, no call, no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound-care modalities.
• Provide bedside wound care in skilled-nursing facilities and long-term acute-care hospitals across a 40–60 mile radius of Utica.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily.
• Document care in real time at the point of service using the group’s proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted MD/DO license in New York.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• W2 employment contract; no work-visa sponsorship available.

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (4–5 days per week).
• Part-time: minimum 3 days per week during the same hours.
• No call, no weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Mobile practice: travel to facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of Utica.

Training & Support

• Paid onboarding training.
• Six-month wound-care fellowship included.

Pay

Full-time W2 physicians average $300,000 per year.
