Internal Medicine Physician

Part-time opportunity with a national wound-physician group offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance—no nights, no call, no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound-care modalities.
• Provide bedside wound care in skilled-nursing facilities and long-term acute-care hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each assigned facility.
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily.
• Document care in real time at the point of service using the group’s proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted MD/DO license in the state where you will practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• Willingness to travel to facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of Rome, NY.

Practice Overview

• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; part-time schedules available.
• No call or weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Mobile practice: physicians visit multiple facilities per day.
• Paid training during onboarding plus a 6-month wound-care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract; no work-visa sponsorship is available.
