This part-time position provides the opportunity to become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities while delivering bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits, with a routine 45-hour work week for full-time positions. This role offers a mobile practice, visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Treat approximately 20-30 patients per day across 2-3 facilities.
- Perform clinical documentation at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
- No work visa sponsorship is available.
Schedule
- Full-time: Monday–Friday (7:00 AM–4:00 PM), 4–5 days per week.
- Part-time: Minimum of 3 days per week.
- No call, no weekend clinical responsibilities.
