Internal Medicine Physician

About the role

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Hospitalist at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the total inpatient population of medical patients, community living center residents, and medical outpatients who present to the hospital seeking care.
• When nursing staff contacts the Physician regarding a patient, determine whether the patient needs to be seen.
• Authority to admit, treat, discharge, or refer patients in accordance with clinical privileges.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Any active state medical license.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
