Internal Medicine Physician

Role: Outpatient Primary Care Physician in a large, expanding clinic serving Medicare patients with a focus on wellness, prevention, and early detection. Responsibilities Educate patients and families, determine referrals, and exercise medical judgment in healthcare decisions.Prescribe treatments, order tests, document all services, and complete medical records promptly.Review patient cases, participate in quality improvement, and consult with the Medical Director and staff.Oversee mid-level providers and nursing staff, handle patient inquiries, and ensure confidentiality.Manage coding, documentation, hospital arrangements, and age/disease-specific measures.Engage in patient retention, marketing, and community interactions. Qualifications & Skills Degree in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, licensed in Georgia.Board certification or eligibility in primary care, with DEA and DPS certifications.Minimum of two years' outpatient experience, preferably with HMO or managed care.Strong communication, computer, and documentation skills.
