Internal Medicine Physician

About the Role

Join a well-established, hospital-employed internal medicine practice providing traditional primary care to a diverse patient population. You will manage an average of 20 patients daily using Athena EMR, perform in-office CLIA wave testing, and coordinate with LabCorp. The team includes 1 PA and 1 NP, and you will maintain strong relationships with specialists. The role involves a 1:7 call schedule, typically managing 5 inpatients per day, with a focus on high-volume Medicare Advantage patient care and associated reimbursement benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide traditional primary care to a diverse patient population.
• Manage an average of 20 patients daily.
• Utilize Athena EMR for patient records and documentation.
• Perform in-office CLIA wave testing.
• Coordinate with LabCorp for laboratory services.
• Work collaboratively with a team including 1 PA and 1 NP.
• Maintain strong relationships with specialists.
• Participate in a 1:7 call schedule.
• Manage approximately 5 inpatients per day.
• Engage in high-volume Medicare Advantage patient care.

Requirements

• Board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a family-like environment.
• Experience with EMR systems (Athena preferred).
• Experience with in-office labs is preferred.
