About the role

Montefiore Medical Group (MMG) is Montefiore Health System's network of primary care practices, with 20 site locations in the Bronx and Westchester counties. The group seeks Internal Medicine and Family Medicine‑trained primary care physicians. MMG offers a collaborative team environment, the opportunity to impact patient care in the Bronx, and several sites qualify to support J‑1 waivers, H‑1B visas, and the NHSC/HRSA Medical School Loan Repayment Program.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct general physician medical care
• Emphasize early detection of ailments, prevention, and all‑around wellness
• Serve as the first point of contact for all patients
• Collaborate with the Integrated Behavioral Health team to ensure holistic primary care
• Collaborate with medical leadership and quality coaches to ensure best practices
• Focus strongly on quality outcomes and full coordination of care

Requirements

• Completion of a US‑accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program
• New York State medical license
• Board eligible or board certified
• DEA and BLS certification
