Internal Medicine Physician Employment In Illinois Medrina is a large, physician-owned practice that has been a national group for over 15 years. We are currently looking to add physicians to the team in our Des Plaines, IL market! Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Illinois licenseBoard certified in Internal Medicine Active DEA licenseMinimum 1 year of Internal Medicine experienceExperience managing adult/geriatric patient populationsStrong clinical decision-making and time management skills Preferred Experience Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experienceInpatient hospitalist WhatMedrinaOffers 1099 independent contractorPart-Time: 2-3 days per week Skilled Nursing Facility SettingWe cover tail end of malpracticeCompetitive comp Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
