About the Role
Medrina is a large, physician-owned practice that has been a national group for over 15 years. We are currently looking to add an Internal Medicine Physician to our team in Seaford, DE, as a 1099 independent contractor in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Responsible for full medical management and primary care
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Delaware medical license
- Board eligible or certified in Internal Medicine
- Active DEA license
- Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
- Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must comply with facility vaccination requirements
Preferred Experience
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience
- Inpatient hospitalist experience
- Geriatric Medicine experience
Schedule
- Part-time (2-3 days per week)
- Monday-Friday, no weekends

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer
- May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks), and chemical hazards
- Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement
