Internal Medicine Physician

About the role

Medrina is a large, physician-owned practice with over 15 years of national experience. They are seeking to add Internal Medicine physicians to their team in Crown Point, IN.

Responsibilities

• Manage adult and geriatric patient populations
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience preferred
• Inpatient hospitalist experience preferred

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Indiana license
• Board certified in Internal Medicine
• Active DEA license
• Minimum 1 year of Internal Medicine experience
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills

Qualifications

• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards, and chemical hazards
• Must wear required PPE per company and/or facility requirement
• Must comply with facility vaccination requirements
