Qualifications
- You are a board-certified physician who is passionate about working with the underserved population ages 55+ who may be experiencing significant barriers to care.
- You are comfortable providing care both in person and virtually, and you want to grow a practice where you and your patients work together to decide the best course of treatment in achieving their goals in an outpatient setting.
- Mission focused and passionate about improving access to quality primary healthcare.
- Proactive and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Comfortable working independently in a group setting while also seeking support and consultation from colleagues.
- Current valid license to practice in the State of Texas.
- Ability to interact and collaborate with community partners and emergency medical/psychiatric service providers to ensure patient safety if a patient needs a higher level of care.
- Participate in after hours on-call rotation 3-4 times a year.
- Possess computer/technology skills to efficiently document within an electronic health record and conduct tele-medicine visits, as well as communicating/meeting with colleagues virtually.
