Responsibilities Include Providing comprehensive medical care to patients both independently and collaboratively with healthcare team members.Examining, diagnosing, and ordering diagnostic tests; prescribing medications.Developing and managing treatment plans, including preventive care and health maintenance.Educating patients and families about health issues, disease prevention, and medical treatments.Referring patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals as needed.Communicating with healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, quality patient care.Maintaining detailed medical records and documenting patient care activities.
