Internal Medicine Physician

Job Duties

• Provide comprehensive adult medical care, including diagnosis and treatment of complex illnesses.
• Manage patient care, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Develop and implement medical care plans based on patient needs and medical knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff, maintaining professional conduct.
• Utilize diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide patient care.
• Complete medical records and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Attend and participate in required educational programs and training sessions.
• Work flexible schedules, including day, evening, and overnight shifts.
• Assume responsibility for backup and on-call duties as scheduled.
• Perform duties at multiple clinical sites, including Berkshire Medical Center and affiliated practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or foreign equivalent.

Special Requirements

• Valid Physician License in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
