Internal Medicine Physician

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Internal Medicine physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work-life balance with own call responsibility limited to Monday through Thursday
• Manage a manageable daily volume of approximately 20–22 patients
• Perform small, in-office procedures such as punch biopsies and minor lesion removal
• Teach Interns and Residents from the Ascension/St. Vincent program
• Provide comprehensive, longitudinal care for a diverse patient panel
• Deliver high-quality clinical outcomes and empower patients through education on disease prevention, health maintenance, and wellness strategies

About The Practice

• Join 5 physicians in a collaborative demeanor committed to high-quality patient care
• Standard Monday–Friday work week (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with the option of a four-day work week
• Conveniently located on the main hospital campus
• Full lab with 2 phlebotomists and a part-time Medical Wellness RN on staff

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)

Pay

• Productivity incentives: RVU/Quality
• Commencement Bonus: $25,000
• CME allowance: $3,000 + 40 hours dedicated CME time (based on FTE status)
• Malpractice coverage with tail
