Internal Medicine Physician
AdventHealth is hiring an Academic Internal Medicine Faculty physician to help shape the next generation of clinicians in a high-performing and rapidly growing training program. By 2030, our campus will be home to 300+ residents and fellows.
About the role
This position is ideal for an experienced outpatient Internal Medicine physician with an academic and research background. Interest in EHR/AI is a plus, and working knowledge of ultrasound (US) is preferred. You’ll have the opportunity to teach outpatient precepting and lead teaching conferences with outstanding resources, including an excellent simulation center and a growing POCUS curriculum. Be part of a rising program with 60 categorical residents in the Internal Medicine residency.
Responsibilities
- Teach outpatient precepting and lead teaching conferences
- Contribute to a growing POCUS curriculum
- Engage in meaningful academic and research work
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (Board Certification required)
- Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain unrestricted licensure)
- Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends
