Internal Medicine Physician: $10,000 Sign on Bonus!

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer and the President/CEO, the Staff Physician will have ultimate responsibility for all medical aspects of the Clinic operations. Salary range is $150,000.00-$230,000.00, with actual pay determined by several factors including education, work experience, and certifications. The position aims to align with market standards and internal equity.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice medicine in the State of Connecticut
• Specialty training and certification in internal medicine or psychiatry is desirable but not essential
• Desirable background, association, or experience with problems of addiction and/or community medicine
• A sensitivity to, and understanding of, the general lifestyle, emotional and behavioral patterns often associated with narcotics addiction

Responsibilities

• Ultimate responsibility for the medical aspects of the Clinic
• Provide initial and annual medical examinations and ongoing medical evaluations and treatments
• Work closely with the Clinic Supervisor and counselors to assess patient progress, participate in staff meetings, and encourage joint efforts for maximum effectiveness
