About the role
HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital in Sanford, FL, in collaboration with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine (UCF COM), seeks an exceptional Internal Medicine physician to join their residency program as core faculty.
Responsibilities
- Participate in clinical supervision, mentoring, and teaching of residents and medical students
- Serve on committees
- Engage in didactic presentations
- Actively participate in scholarly activities
- Receive a faculty appointment with UCF COM
Requirements
- ABIM certification required
- Prior experience in practice and resident teaching is preferred but not required

About HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital
Accredited 221-bed, Level 2 trauma center established in 1982, we are the only full-service cardiovascular program in Seminole and west Volusia. Other specialized services include orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, wound care, acute inpatient medical rehabilitation, and complete imaging services. U.S. FDA-accredited with the Mammography Quality Standards Act and Program, accredited for CT, mammography, MRI, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound by the American College of Radiology, CARF-accredited acute inpatient medical rehabilitation center, Joint Commission-accredited Advanced Primary Stroke Center.
