HCA Florida JFK Hospital and the HCA Florida Healthcare GME Division are seeking an experienced Core Faculty physician for the Internal Medicine residency program.

Responsibilities

  • Participate as an active faculty member in the program as required by the program director and institutional policies
  • Maintain the content and quality of the curriculum for the residents and other learners
  • Participate in grand rounds, program conferences, and didactics
  • Supervise residents on inpatient service and in the facility's outpatient clinic
  • Complete required resident evaluations during their clinical experiences
  • Participate in the resident interview and selection process at the request of the program director
  • Engage in program didactics, conferences, grand rounds, and other educational activities
  • Engage in scholarly activity with residents and other learners
  • Perform inpatient and outpatient primary care/general internal medicine work

Requirements

  • MD or DO, board certified in internal medicine
  • Licensed or license eligible in the State of Florida
  • Strong interest and relevant experience in Graduate Medical Education and academic pursuit
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a member of a team
