What We Offer

Practice Highlights
- Join a collaborative team of Physician partners, APPs, MAs, office managers, and support staff
- Opportunity to gradually take over an established physician’s panel, with mentorship and warm patient hand-offs as they transition toward retirement
- Choose either an outpatient-only model or a traditional clinic-plus-inpatient model that utilizes hospitalists
- Flexibility to focus on clinical interests (ADHD, mental health, women’s health, LGBTQ+ care, etc.)
- Opportunity to incorporate subspecialty care and mentor medical students and residents if desired
Schedule & Hours
- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday; no weekends or evenings
- Schedule: 4.5 days patient care + 0.5 day administrative (more flexibility as a shareholder)
- Call Light outpatient phone call only; rotated among partners
Patient Volume & Support
- Gradual onboarding ramp-up to build confidence with the EMR, patient care, flow, and coding
- Target at least 18 patients/day as comfort and efficiency increase for financial success
- Care Management and Hospital at Home resources available, extending care outside of the clinic
- Support staff function at the top of their training, assisting with in-basket management, refills, prior auths, and care coordination
Procedures & Office Details
- In-office procedures based on physician preference and comfort; partners available for precepting if interested in learning
- On-site capabilities vary by clinic: lab, X-ray, diabetic retinopathy testing, A1c testing, COVID point-of-care testing, IV services, liquid nitrogen
- Daily courier service to main Esse lab; results integrated into EMR
- Additional Telehealth available NextGen EMR with AI scribe technology and Dragon dictation
- BLean Clinical Practice Model focused on efficiency, workflow optimization, and quality outcomes

Requirements
- MD or DO
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with plans to certify (AB or AOA)
- Missouri licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in Missouri
