About the role
HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced full-time Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Advanced Practice Provider) to join their team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Southeast Florida.
Responsibilities
- No procedures / No codes
- Open ICU, intensivist coverage
- Schedule is 6am to 6pm - 7 on / 7 off block scheduling, with some flexibility
- Dedicated Nocturnist - 7pm to 7am on staff
- 12 Physician & 4 Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant full-time team with a deep per diem roster
- Collaborative, cooperative, excellence-driven team approach to patient care
Requirements
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least three years of in-patient experience preferred
- Experience in acute care, cardiac, or pulmonology a plus
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to work weekdays and weekends (mixed schedule)
