About the role
The Internal Market Consultant will manage long-standing relationships with existing clients, develop new relationships, and facilitate client engagements. This role requires a consultative approach to sell Invesco products and services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a team to implement a strategic territory plan addressing client needs.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, increase wallet share, and deliver the Total Client Experience (Total CX).
- Apply portfolio analytical tools to identify products and services that optimize portfolios.
- Lead consultative calls, webinars, and meetings with financial advisors to promote and position Invesco products.
- Conduct daily activities and territory analysis to address unique client needs.
- Create personalized digital communications to engage financial advisors and support business objectives.
- Facilitate and coordinate specialist team involvement in client engagements.
- Leverage data to identify and prioritize prospective clients for targeted outreach.
- Accurately document all client interactions in the CRM system.
- Participate in a comprehensive training program to improve competencies in various areas.
- Travel as needed to conduct meetings with clients, assist with client events, and attend industry conferences.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of consultative selling experience in financial services preferred.
- College degree or equivalent experience required (MBA, CFA, CFP, and CIMA a plus).
- FINRA Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 required for role (must acquire within firm-defined time period).
- A current understanding or strong desire to learn about capital markets, mutual funds, ETFs, and the impact of economic factors.
- Strong work ethic, high integrity, and strong values.

- Excellent listening skills with a natural inclination to focus on client needs coupled with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
- Full-time worker type.
- Pursuant to Invesco's Workplace Policy, employees are expected to spend at least four full days each week working in an Invesco office.
