About the team

The Internal Control team at TikTok focuses on the risks and challenges faced by global business operations. We support business stakeholders in establishing appropriate internal procedures to safeguard business development. You will have the opportunity to learn about TikTok’s diverse business ecosystem, understand its operational principles, resource allocation methods, and participate in designing internal management mechanisms. Successful candidates must commit to an onboarding date by the end of the year.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential risks based on business strategy, organizational development goals, workflows, and the data lifecycle of systems.
• Participate in designing appropriate control measures (policies, processes, systems, etc.) and continuously monitor their effectiveness.
• Conduct impartial oversight and assessment of material incidents in business operations, and develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Continuously refine risk identification and response techniques using data models, AI models, and other technologies to establish industry best practices.

Requirements

• Completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Strategic Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong logical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills (including emotional intelligence).
• Exceptional teamwork spirit, fast-learning ability, and strong execution capabilities.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset, high sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and a commitment to continuous growth through practical experience.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to collaborate with global partners and key stakeholders based in Mandarin-speaking markets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree is preferred.
• Prior internship experience in Risk Control Strategy, Data Strategy, AI Product Manager, AI R&D, Strategic Management, Data Analytics, Risk Management, or Internal Control.
• ACCA joint program participants will be given priority.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $80,169 - $121,600 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
