Internal Communications Strategist

About the role
In this vital role, you will be responsible for creating employee communications and engagement deliverables, as well as supporting our Enterprise Services leaders on their change transformation communications. You will manage multiple communications products at different stages of the planning process, while providing an exemplary attention to detail and outstanding customer service. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on-site at our Technology Campus located in El Segundo, CA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communications initiatives, with a special emphasis on supporting transformation efforts within our Enterprise Services organizations
- Create clear and compelling communications deliverables, to include emails, intranet stories, websites and newsletters
- Partner across our Corporate Communications creative teams (i.e. graphics, video) to create visual components to help tell stories
- Leverage different channels to engage employees nationwide
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English or other related field
- Three or more years of relevant internal communications, corporate communications and/or employee engagement experience
- Outstanding writing and editing expertise, with a proven ability to tailor communications for executives, managers, or employees
- Meticulous organizational skills paired with attention to detail, ensuring seamless project execution and operational excellence
- Exceptional interpersonal acumen that fosters effective collaboration across internal and external teams with complex organizational structures
- Experience with a content management platform (i.e. SharePoint or WordPress)
Skills
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- Proven experience in change management communications, adept at steering organizational transformations and managing crisis narratives with clarity and precision
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
- Proficiency with PoliteMail or other internal email metrics services
- Knowledge within the aerospace and defense sector is strongly desired

Pay
The grade-based pay range for this job is $67,000.00 - $126,900.00 annually. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
