The Internal Communications Specialist will help shape employee engagement and strengthen organizational culture through impactful communication strategies. This role focuses on creating clear, compelling content that connects employees with business priorities, leadership initiatives, and company values. You will develop communications across multiple channels, including digital platforms, newsletters, intranet content, and internal events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, agency communications, or a similar environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills with advanced knowledge of AP Style.
- Experience developing internal communications content for digital platforms, intranets, newsletters, and employee engagement channels.
- Proven experience supporting organizational change management communications and applying change communication best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, shifting deadlines, and complex projects independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving and project management abilities.
- Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint and experience creating professional presentations.
- Basic creative design skills with the ability to develop visual communication materials.
- Experience with photo and video editing tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud, is a plus.
- Familiarity with platforms and tools such as Teamwork, Simpplr, ContactMonkey, Canva, or similar communication technologies is preferred.
