Internal Communications Lead- Content

Lutron Electronics is seeking an Internal Communications Lead – Content to bring our strategy, culture, and priorities to life for employees worldwide. This role is based at our headquarters in Coopersburg, PA, or at our Conshohocken, PA location.

About the role

As a trusted storytelling partner to HR and business leaders, you will craft thoughtful, engaging communications that inform, inspire, and unite a diverse, global, multi-lingual workforce. Your work will ensure every message is clear, meaningful, and aligned with Lutron’s identity, supporting enterprise initiatives, change efforts, leadership messages, and employee programs.

Responsibilities

• Create, write, edit, and deliver a wide range of internal communication content that keeps employees informed, engaged, and connected to the business.
• Own and manage key internal communication channels, including intranet pages, newsletters, and town halls.
• Lead integrated internal communications campaigns in support of change management, leadership communications, and enterprise initiatives.
• Partner with HR, business teams, and Communication Champions to gather insights and translate them into compelling stories.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders, plant managers, and employees to ensure communications reflect a global perspective.
• Translate complex or technical information into clear, employee-friendly messaging.
• Support executive and leader communications, including talking points and presentations.
• Ensure messages consistently reflect Lutron’s culture, values, and voice.
• Use insights and metrics to continuously improve communication effectiveness.
• Maintain high standards of content accuracy, quality, and timeliness across channels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Liberal Arts, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 for each degree earned or 10 years of professional experience post-academics.
• 5–10 years of experience in internal communications or a closely related role.
• Proven writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a passion for strategic storytelling.
• Experience managing internal communication channels (e.g., intranet, email platforms, collaboration tools).
• Experience planning and delivering communication campaigns.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be within commuting distance of the Coopersburg, PA office; on-site work is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with employee engagement or change management principles.
• Experience working with a network of Communication Champions.
• Bilingual English–Spanish or English–Mandarin is a plus.
