About the role

The Internal Communications Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing internal communication within Sand Valley. This position is responsible for creating and implementing communication strategies that foster a positive work environment and ensure all employees are informed and engaged.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute internal communication plans to keep employees informed about company news, policies, and initiatives.
  • Coordinate the distribution of newsletters, memos, and other internal communications materials.
  • Manage employee engagement programs to build a strong sense of community and belonging among staff.
  • Work closely with leadership to develop and implement communication strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Monitor employee feedback and adjust communication strategies accordingly to improve engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in internal communications or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of workplace communication best practices and trends.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
