About the role
The Internal Communications Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing internal communication within Sand Valley. This position is responsible for creating and implementing communication strategies that foster a positive work environment and ensure all employees are informed and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute internal communication plans to keep employees informed about company news, policies, and initiatives.
- Coordinate the distribution of newsletters, memos, and other internal communications materials.
- Manage employee engagement programs to build a strong sense of community and belonging among staff.
- Work closely with leadership to develop and implement communication strategies that align with business objectives.
- Monitor employee feedback and adjust communication strategies accordingly to improve engagement and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in internal communications or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of workplace communication best practices and trends.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
