Job Responsibilities

• Creates and leads internal communications for the agency.
• Writes, maintains, and distributes internal newsletter and daily news roundup.
• Maintains and implements content calendar for internal communications and social media strategy.
• Writes, develops, and maintains content for SCDC website and social media platforms.
• Captures information for marketing campaigns, press releases and events.
• Assists in writing press releases, video/photo editing, creating content for internal television communications.
• Monitors social media platforms and responds to external media when needed.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree and relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, mass communications, public relations or another closely related field and five (5) years of experience in internal communications.
