Description Position Summary The collections representative performs activities involving the collection of accounts that are delinquent and/or over the credit limit. This role will analyze account status and determine appropriate actions while following company policies and all applicable laws. Summary Of Essential Job Functions Assertively communicate the importance of resolving delinquencyFlexibility to work a wide variety of account types (e.g., NSF, Negative Day, and ANI).Use experience and product knowledge to effectively overcome objections and resolve outstanding issues in a professional and controlled mannerReview and analyze the situation of each customer and recommend payment plans following company guidelinesCommunicate the importance of maintaining credit and resolving delinquencyAdhere to all Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) guidelinesPerform other duties as assigned Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required6-18 months collections experience preferredSignificant focus on team as well as individual achievementAbility to establish and maintain a diplomatic approach to collectionsKnowledge and proper presentation of all methods of payment to cure the account while promoting card utilityDemonstrated skill in negotiating and conflict resolutionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIntermediate computer skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively educate cardholders towards proper management of their accountAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-taskPrevious call center experience preferred Credit One Bank, N.A. is a data-driven financial services company based in Las Vegas.
