Internal Auditor

About the role

As the Internal Auditor, you are responsible for planning, coordination, and completion of internal audits and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements. You will help complete risk assessments to establish the annual internal audit plan, prepare internal audit reports for review by the Internal Audit Manager, and perform special projects and ad-hoc assignments. Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you will evaluate risk areas, lead audit procedures, identify issues, and analyze evidence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk areas and provide input on the development of the Audit Plan.
• Lead audit procedures, identify issues, develop criteria, and analyze evidence.
• Complete financial, Sarbanes-Oxley, and information technology-based audit engagements.
• Maintain internal audit programs and policies, and develop new audit programs.
• Provide training and guidance to Internal Audit seniors and staff in conducting audits and other audit-related issues.
• Oversee and motivate engagement team members and engage with all levels of management.
• Manage multiple field audit assignments and special projects.
• Experience with data analytics and use of tools such as Tableau and Microsoft BI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Internal auditing experience at a manufacturing company.
• CPA certification.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting/auditing experience.
• Knowledge of and skill in applying internal auditing, GAAP, and accounting principles and practices.
• Readiness to accept additional responsibilities and willingness to try new ideas and methodologies.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.

Schedule

Travel up to 20% of the time, including international assignments.
