Responsible for
- Managing efficient execution of compliance, financial, and risk-based internal audits, investigations, and special projects
- Auditing casino functions, processes, internal controls, accounts, records, and other activities
- Identifying and communicating internal control weaknesses
- Developing and coordinating annual audit plans, risk assessments, and internal audit programs
- Improving efficiencies, processes, procedures, and company performance
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of company accounts, financial processes, systems, policies, and procedures
- Ensuring full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations
Where You'll Make an Impact
- Overseeing and completing audits to ensure reliability and integrity of information
- Ensuring proper recording of transactions and safeguarding of assets
- Ensuring operational goals and objectives are achieved
- Using resources effectively and complying with all Federal and State gaming regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- Identifying and communicating internal control weaknesses
- Working with other departments to develop solutions to correct noted conditions
- Strengthening internal controls, policies, and operational procedures
- Reducing costs
- Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of company accounts, financial processes, systems, policies, and procedures
- Maintaining technical proficiency with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), auditing standards, trends, and best business practices
- Delegating or responding to ad hoc requests to address control issues on new business processes, policies, and procedures
- Providing consultative services to management including exception reporting and analysis
Skills to Help You Succeed
- Experience effectively conducting and supervising multiple audit and compliance projects simultaneously
- The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid license as required by the State Gaming Agency for the position
- Must have five (5) plus years of experience in audit or regulatory compliance or three (3) plus years in the Hospitality and/or Gaming industry (strongly preferred)
- Certification (e.g. CPA and/or CIA preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or closely related field preferred
- Graduate degree preferred

- 24/7 high energy casino with over 100,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees
