Internal Audit

Vaco Arizona is partnering with a top client in Phoenix to hire an Internal Auditor. This is a hybrid direct-hire opportunity.

About the role

This role will be responsible for supporting internal audit initiatives, evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance, and assisting with SOX and risk assessment activities across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Execute internal audit engagements and document findings and recommendations
• Evaluate internal controls, operational processes, and compliance procedures
• Assist with SOX testing and compliance efforts
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify risks and control gaps
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and strengthen controls

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA, CIA, or CISA certification completed or actively in progress
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting, internal audit, SOX compliance, or a combination of these areas

Pay

Up to $100,000 annually.
