Internal Advisor Consultant
About the role
The Internal Advisor Consultant (IAC) partners closely with the Advisor Consultant to build business partnerships, maintain current client assets, drive sales, cross-sell advisors, and convert prospects to clients. This role involves managing the team's pipeline, leading weekly calls, and supporting broader campaigns and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develops consultative relationships with Financial Advisors, branch office managers, and sales managers in the assigned territory.
- Coordinates with Advisor Consultant on business and territory management plans.
- Initiates outbound calls, emails, and web conferences to market, educate, and promote the company suite of products.
- Profiles advisors and understands the company sales process.
- Manages the team's pipeline and discusses follow-ups and opportunity movement with weekly calls.
- Collaborates internally and shares best practices with team members.
- Documents all Advisor activity in the customer management system and updates calendars.
- Supports broader campaigns, initiatives, and blitzes related to the entire product suite including Managed Accounts, Mutual Funds, Closed End Funds, Exchange Traded Funds, Alternatives, DCIO, etc.
Requirements
- University (Degree) Preferred
- 2+ Years Work Experience Required; 3+ Years Preferred
- FINRA Registrations: SRC Indicator: Series 7; Series 63; Series 65; Series 66
Qualifications
- Significant knowledge of the financial markets, both equity and fixed income.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to profile clients.
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills; ability to analyze and prioritize large amounts of information.

Benefits
