Intern, Ticket Sales & Service - Fall

Position Summary

The Columbus Crew is seeking college students who want the opportunity to develop valuable skills and gain firsthand experience in the professional sports industry as a Client Services/Ticket Sales Intern. Participants will be supervised by the Director Client Services and Manager of Season Ticket Sales for the Columbus Crew.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Aiding with daily correspondence to Columbus Crew guests and clients
• Delivering superior customer service and exceeding fan expectations
• Researching customer retention strategies
• Performing administrative office duties including filing, organizing, data entry and mailing
• Assisting in planning and implementing special marketing events and promotions
• Working closely with sales staff to fulfill orders
• Assisting with ticket sales activities and events, including receptions and game day entertainment
• Contributing to brainstorming; planning and implementation of ticket sales plans; providing ideas and proposals

Required Skills, Experience & Abilities

• Background in sales, marketing, business, customer service or communications is encouraged
• Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
• Detail oriented and enthusiastic about working within a sports-related environment
• Creative and outgoing self-starter
