Intern - Ticket Sales & Operations Fall 2026

Ticket Sales Intern

The Worcester Railers HC of the ECHL is seeking an unpaid/credit only intern for the Fall of the 2026 academic year, starting in September and ending in December. Candidates must be current college students and available to dedicate 10 to 15 hours per week to the internship.

Responsibilities

• Attend all Railers HC events as requested (including 90% of our Home Games)
• Assist staff with all other game day related activities as requested
• Report to the Manager of Ticket Sales
• Work select office hours during the week
• Gain experience in sales calls, CRM management, ticket operations, and more

Qualifications

• Pursuit of Sport Management, Marketing, and/or business degree preferred
• Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette
• Able to multi-task and handle a variety of projects
• Basic understanding of making a sale
• Basic knowledge of ice hockey encouraged but not required

Requirements

• Must receive college credit
• Available to work a minimum of 10+ hours per week, including nights and weekends
• Must have reliable transportation and live in the Worcester or surrounding areas
• Must be able to receive credit towards major via class requirement or hours

Schedule

Flexible, but must be available for game days and select office hours during the week.
