Our Services
- Provide individual, group, and family training to children, adolescents and/or adults in assigned region/counties (For generalist year clinicians).
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling to children, adolescents and/or adults in assigned region/counties (For clinical year MSW interns, or other master/doctorate level clinicians).
- Collaborate with other Georgia HOPE staff and community partners to ensure effective treatment, service provision and case collaboration.
- Document case notes in online electronic medical record system (CareLogic).
What You'll Do
- Attend regular team meetings and clinical supervision.
- Attend agency trainings, as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including internet research and Microsoft Word applications.
- Proven ability to proficiently navigate the CareLogic online electronic medical record system.
- Able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Able to function as a member for a multi-disciplinary treatment team and work cooperatively with other agency employees.
- Able to conduct oneself professionally and ethically with clients, co-workers and community partners.

- Weekly clinical supervision with Licensed Clinical Supervisor (LPC, LCSW) or approved supervisor with MSW and 2+ years' experience post degree.
- Interns are considered highly eligible for employment at Georgia HOPE.
- Access to free trainings and workshops on a variety of topics to support intern education.
- Monthly and bimonthly meetings with other interns to staff cases, discuss topics related to professional development, and provide a sense of camaraderie.
- The ability to create your own flexible schedule.
