Intern, Test Engineering Summer Intern

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

• Support the Manufacturing Engineering team in the design and implementation of new manufacturing processes
• Aid in the development and maintenance of manufacturing process documentation
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations
• Conduct data analysis and develop recommendations for process improvement
• Participate in cross-functional projects and provide support as needed
• Perform engineering change processes to support existing products
• Test prototypes and standard products and write reports documenting the results
• Categorize a wide range of existing parts
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner conducive to customer, client, coworker, and management relationships

Education and Experience

• Currently enrolled in year 1 or 2 of a 4-year degree program in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related Engineering field
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow oral and written guidelines
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
• Commitment to respect, integrity, and accountability
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and offer improvement ideas
