About the Role
This is a temporary position for a student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program. Work duties will vary depending on the business needs of the department. The role involves interning or training temporarily at BCH under close supervision. Students not coming through an internship program with an academic institution may need to meet certain legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Interact with both the Principal Investigator (PI) and a lab member designated as a day-to-day mentor.
- Develop and pursue discrete research projects, with guidance from PIs and mentors on project design, execution, interpretation, and communication.
- Participate in a customized curriculum, including a bootcamp to orient you to the research community and weekly workshops to build scientific and career skills.
Requirements
- Must be a matriculated undergraduate student working toward a degree in science.
Pay
The posted pay range reflects Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation at the time of posting. The final base pay offer depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and other job-related factors.
