Summer Intern

Summary Summer Internship Program - Academy Bank’s Summer Internship offers students pursuing business-related degrees hands-on experience in banking. Interns complete meaningful projects, participate in professional development training, and present a business research project to senior leadership. The program provides valuable career experience and potential opportunities for future full-time employment at the Bank’s Kansas City headquarters. General Term of Internship: 8 weeks starting the first week of June and ending the last week of July.Full-time, 32-hour work week.Monday through Thursday schedule (9:00-5:00 or 8:30-4:30), excluding the Juneteenth and Independence Day paid holidays. Hourly rate of $18.00 per hour.All interns will perform real work in the assigned department, research and present on a real-work issue facing the banking industry and participate in a professionalism series that focuses on skills necessary to succeed in a professional environment, such as communication, etiquette, personal branding, and interviewing skills.
