About the role

KUTV, Utah’s #1 news station, seeks Studio Production Interns to gain hands-on experience in the control room and on the studio set. This unpaid internship offers observational learning and participation in daily live newscasts.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of newscast production processes
• Participate actively in live newscasts
• Learn firsthand in the fast-paced world of news

Requirements

• Studying journalism, mass communications, communications, film, or a related field
• Desire to experience the news industry

Qualifications

• Strong interest in journalism and media
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Basic knowledge of video editing software
• Good interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
